Came across this video capsule from GoaFest2011 on what keeps various ad CXOs awake at night. Variety of reasons are cited but I whole hearted agree with Sir John Hegarty’s answer that nothing keeps him awake at night. Advertising is not a life & death business. Stress and chaos during the day is significant so in my opinion ad professionals do deserve a good night’s sleep. Also if we do our work well during the day there won’t be a need to stay awake at night. Sometimes our industry creates artificial pressure and then takes pride in dealing with it.
