Over the weekend we watched the much hyped hindi movie 2 States. It is based on a popular novel by Chetan Bhagat and supposed to be his own story. The movie started off on a note that would resonate with almost all as food served in Indian hostels is barely edible. I personally felt that the movie dragged a bit after the first 15 minutes or so. The campus life and environment depicted in the movie looked a bit plastic. I kept searching for humour but failed to find any. The dynamics and cultural divide between the two families was based on typical stereotypes and there was nothing unique about it. I was personally disappointed as I thought it would be an interesting movie.
