Today is a public holiday in Hong Kong and I just spent the whole day working. This year has gone too quickly and I worked through several holidays: CNY, Easter, Ching Ming Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival. I think I’m running fast but sometimes it feels like that the speed is not enough – there is so much to do and so little time. My wife has been very understanding & not complained.
I guess our generation thrives on being busy and sacrificing personal time. All the people around me (including myself) find it OK to get work intrusion on personal time. And on the other hand we constantly include personal activities during our work hours. I guess technology & modern communication devices have turned us into 24×7 work-on-life-on creatures.
Don’t know whether its good or not but at this moment I’m thriving on it.
